Libraries, monsters in disguise..

oh how i hate libraries!
and their pin-dropping silence..
oh how i hate libraries!
the cold and quietness, it burns!
oh how i hate libraries!
though not a single geek in sight,
oh how i hate libraries!
get me out of my hopeless plight!
i detest! i'd protest! to such a dreadful place.
for i know that it's in here, where i'd finally rest my case.
case of what! i'm not sure! but i know i have to flee..
this crazy place where monsters hide, i know they're laughing with glee
the monsters of great knowledge, they know u inside out.
they know when u're high and happy or when u just wanna pout.
families after families of them, standing tall in their shelves,
though innocently lifeless they seem, bE WARY! its your brain they wanna devour!
slowly but surely, these monsters will rapidly increase.
as us silly humans, browse thru them seemingly at ease.
first, its your eyes they capture, then your soul, your head and your toes,
they'll gobble u up without mercy, as their guts, they begin to unfold.
they'd enter through your eyes, masquerading as little alphabets,
they'd get to your brain and it's there, where they'll quickly get to work!
they'd stir up thoughts of utter randomness in this head u no longer control,
they'll eat u up slowly from inside out, and yes, right down to your toes!
you'd soon be one of them sitting innocently lifeless amongst the shelves,
there u'd plan, u'd scheme, u'd laugh, u'd scream at this new life u have found!
the nerds, the geeks, the brainy, the freaks, none of them u'd spare.
coz this world is what it is, where nothing is ever fair!
oh monsters, eat me not! please! i beg u so.
for if u do, my pages will, definately be as white as snow.
i'd be nothing useful to this family of books, that i know so well.
for i know it's space i'd waste, and eyes i'd rather not taste, argh! please! i can already tell!
i'm leaving now u vicious foe, not one chance will u get
for we will never meet again, so u can never turn me white and flat!
