APAD - night cycling up north

i'm really beginning to enjoy this. and it has inevitably become a weekly affair. hur hur..weekly affair with my long lost brother. how wrong. haha. because this time around, we had a whole load less of logistics to deal with since it was just the 2 of us, i drove up to jiawen's place instead. easypeasy, apart from the fact that the drive back at 5am in the morning would kill. dismentled gracie's badly trashed up roadracer and shoved it into the car. perfect.

he showed me life up in the north. haha. i'm making singapore sound damn bloody big. i remember back in bali, talking to wayang, the oh so sweet guy we met in ubud who so willingly drove us around. he was like.. oh, so how many hours does it take from one end of singapore to the other. bali is smallll... it only takes 6hours. then i went.. uh..singapore? north to south? 30mins? hahaha. i had probably shocked the poor fella off his socks. hurhur. welcome to singapore brother.

route: woodlands ave3 - mandai road - pass the zoo - yishun - supper - sembawang park - woodlands - ulu part of marsiling that overlooked the entire courseway - woodlands ave 3

short ride. wind was blowing hard that night. it made cycling a breeze (no pun intended). but it was so so so so goood. and the courseway was really really gorgeous! jiawen said that probably is the closest to msia you'll ever get without your passport.

sembawang shipyard

guess whos who!

tiny cut on my finger after crashing into jiawens bike. tiny cut that swelled up so bad, i couldnt take the ring off for training on sunday. it looked like an abuse kitty with rubber bands tied to its tail to make it drop off. gross. haha.
