APAD - goodwill trading

i quite like this gathering of songbirds and parrots at goodwill every sunday. quite cool. this is what a call the real songbird terrace. birdpark's one is empty and blah.



reminds me of birdbird :( was talking to this malay uncle and he was telling me how this fella flew off one day. when he decided to go get another, he spotted his own grey at bedok selling for $600. his heart broke at the condition he was in, but the grey could still recognise him! kept kissing and calling out to him. he had no choice but to buy it back. so sad. we should all microchip our pets everyone!

what an odd hybrid. scarlet + blue gold wing macaw. has the colourations of a sun conure! haha. funny what people will do to jack up the price of a bird. sigh..

so i got home that day and found a dead birdie. what was even more heartbreaking was that i found the lovebird snuggled right next to the dead bird. he even had his wing over it. it was so so so sad... but look at his head! or what used to be a head! its gonee!! i wonder who munched on it. how awful.. :(
