i dont ever wanna move! :(
i was just talking to sunand about moving out, and it suddenly occured to me that my family has never really had a place of our own. the pros and cons of having a dad as a pastor. im sure many can relate, those big businessman travelling half way around the world with their families. or missionaries whose kids follow everywhere they go. but at least they got to see some, lived in different parts of the world. so thats ok.
but in my case, its different. technically, i should be used to it. ive moved plenty of times when i was younger. like, i grew up in bedok, the only actual place that my parents owned. then to my current place here in telok blangah when my dad got posted back to grace methodist. then we moved to boston for a year and a half. then to australia for a couple of months, and then to jalan besar when we got back. again, being posted to another church.
i remmeber loving the place at jalan besar. we had neighbours at least. ive havent had neighbours to live with for the longest time ever. we always had people over. wait, no, we still ALWAYS have people over anyway. so thats ok. and then my dad got posted back to grace methodist. so we ended up living somewhere else in telok blangah whilst this place was getting renovated. and then we shifted back here.
i guess when ure younger, it really doesnt matter where you lived. there will always be the parents who would chauffer you everywhere. now that youre older, youre ppretty much on your own. well, even if you had a car, it still matters where you live since ure the one driving now. rah...
i dont wanna ever mooveeeeee..................... :( :( :(
boo.
