new beginnings

this year has been treating me good thus far. parties after parties, yacht parties even. already clocked in my dive for the year. a good start. whee! new pets, new companions, even a new clutch of eggs! yayy! a new cell group, hopefully, a fresh new start at church with undignified later, the annual huge artsfest at church. new lease at work, hopefully a new job or a new job scope at the very least. a new boss since nick has trooped off to greener pastures. a fresh new start to every relationship. i really do need to chuck the emotional baggage and not lug it on to the following year like what i did last year. i've experienced a whole lot, a bit too much for my liking last year, but thats where our lives get moulded and we learn. i learn. did things i shouldnt have, didnt do things i should have. but i'm not gonna sit back and regret and lament about it. bring it on 09, ill show you how much tougher gloria can be.
