APAD - a half day well spent

so i had a half day to kill. i mean, the meeting with isabel at the zoo in the morning wasnt as great a deal as i thought it would have been. so after bumming ard a fair bit, i finally got out to see the sun. good thing i had the car with me. ran out, took a couple of quick shots of the spring flowers display at the zoo (birdpark's one nicer, hehehe) and left.

so i picked rod up along the way. popped by canteen 1 to reminisce the good ol ngee ann poly days and to see how warped clothings these young people wear nowa days. thank God my poly days era was bearable and i got away with mostly tees and shorts. comfort rules first in glorias wardrobe. somethings will never change.

we got back and played with the bugger for a fair bit. cute. and we went for a swim! yay! i had to soak up the soleil. its been too too long. im getting way too fair for my liking..


so since we had the car, and that i really did wanna check out km8 and it being a possible location for our divers preseason party, we drove right. thank God for expired islander cards. hur hur hur. they always work somehow.. haha..

even km8 had the cny vibe to it.. nice..

and then the sunset........ ooooh.... i could spend forever dwelling in its presence..

got down to merchant court to shoot some random pictures. never knew an old chinese temple existed just beside it along magazine road. but the pictures werent all that blog worthy to post..

AQUA! pretty. hopefully we'll get this place for a sweet deal. what more a divers party in a yacht shaped bar..

then to rachel's after all that running around for our touch reunion. i loved the sausages that her multi-lingual dad bbq-ed. hurhur. we should have more of these. and ray..i'll promise i wont have farewells to run off to.

so i met up with ally and she got me into powerhouse. i mean, i've never appreciated st.james and its cheena antics. least to say the techno and the cantopoop. but it was good fun. good company. our crazy bunch whom i love love love dearly.. i shant/cant/wont post up pictures of that night.. we'll just have to let roy in the bushes sum it all up. hahaha... to more craziness like these.. all in a days work..
