vang vieng, Laos
enroute to vang vieng.. yet another gorgeous sunset. need i say more?
so my fascination with botak trees started from here. i did a rough estimate and realised i took over a 100 shots of botak trees in laos. haha.
Nam Song river..
the uber yummy pizza. for some strange reason, it was really really really tasty. lonely planet did warn about vang vieng's infamous 'happy' drugged food. hmmmm.. hahhaa. loved the pizza to bits. but still loving those green little words at the top right hand corner more. hahaa.
tiny little vang vieng, with a not so tiny backdrop..
tissue box cover doggie!
the start of our adventure!
this shot is just wayyyyy too hilarious. haha. sorry girlfriend. i just had to. tubing down a limstone cave. grace must have seen something in there. hahaha.
botak trees!
one of the million buddha infested caves we visited..
i have no idea why my shoulder looks dislocated...
kayaking down the Nam Song River! BEAUtiful!
the ridiculously insane slide! wheee!
maggie, south af, grace, glor, south af. funny, we've bumped into them a million times and we still havent caught their names. darn it.
funny. everytime someone does a swing leap or down the slide, these buggers will put up score cards. i scored an 8,7,8. not too bad aye? hahaha. one guy belly flopped.. but looked uber cool doing it, and he got a 10! hahahaah
the thai guys on our tour group..
sunset! the view from our guesthouse!
so ive heard a million stories about this book. i saw this in one of the 2nd hand bookstores in vang vieng. recently, mingdao posted up a note on fb about this. anyone who would ever want to pick up this book has to have faith the size of the universe before he proceeds. its scary what anti-christian literature does to you. look how church of satan even started. and he was a pastors kid!
