i hate goodbyes

its been a good week. i think ive accomplished a tad more than i had expected. its amazing what school does for you. apart from the blahblahs of educating you and what nots, it also serves as an avenue for meeting up with people. say yay! haha. today's like the 3rd day ive been to school, though technically, i should have been in school for more than a week now. hurhur. and though lecture was boring my brains out, cca orientation was actually quite fun. haha! i could walk around to so many booths and actually see familiar faces. sweet. im beginning to love school. from all the trainings, diving, lifesaving, frisbeeing..coolness man. haha. then after half an hour of hibyes, i planted my fat ass by the touch rug booth. yay. i love days like that. it actually reminds me that SIM's a school afterall. haha.

speaking of which, i met up with uber old friends. like really really randomly. first it was zhuang, whom, out of nowhere decided that he should pop back into our lives again. like darn him la. but it was so long ago, i cant blame him. we were once all young and stupid i guess. he arranged a timsum lunch for yoke kk and i. and it was actually rather good! was nice seeing him again. our 8 over years of rendevous has finally come to an end. so thats good i guess.

then came huiling. i mean, i havent seen her for like 6years. since j1 i think. she was back for a week or so. my soon to be doctor friend's in melbourne like half the rest of the mg population. i could probably safely say that half of them are in aussie, a quarter probably in the uk and the rest either in some ulu part of the world or still stuck in sunny singapore.

she was telling me how hweirong has graduated from cambridge. like scary mama man. considering how we were all in the same class for so so so many years in pri sch. what happened to me?! :( she told me how delphia's like on her way to becoming a highflyer. where she got headhunted by drew and napier. aspiring lawyer i see. and jiayen's an sia stewardess, and half the rest of the world's doing medicine. sigh, and where am i? stuck in a crappy school doing a half*#$@ degree. damn you glor. better buck up.

ling and i went through like really old photos. like all the really ugly photos of mini-us and our frumpy hair and ultra nerdmaniac specs. during birthday parties by her peanut pool. it was so so long ago! and it brought back SO much memories. sigh! i wished days could be easier. i think i could spend forever just lazing around in her peanut pool, or wrestling off potential thieves eyeing my very comfy floaty thingy. ooh. wished this whole saying goodbye ritual didnt have to be so routine and common. bahh. when i saw the peanut pool, i HAD to dip my legs in it. and we sat there till 6am trying the make up for the many many years that has passed us by. ah, im gonna miss you :( watch out for me ling. id be coming around that mountain on that cow in india. hahah. :)
