Lantern fest 2006!

after postponing a week, there was no way i was ever gonna cancel on them again.

we finally had our longly awaited lantern arsoning parade. we have to keep this up guys. its only this one time of the year where we get to burn everything without getting caught. hur hur hur. i know you wannnttt to.... hur hur..

they were late as usual. pretty glad i told them to meet at 7 and not 10. because they did come at 10. it takes years of experience to cultivate the ability of knowing exactly when they'll arrive. ahha. i spent the day with christine, she came over early to help me clean up the fish tank and birdie's cage. and we went for zeeboy's training! that gorgeous brown husky. will post photos when my laptop resurrects. darn laptop. sigh.

we ended up watching brother bear 2 armed with pizzas whilst waiting for the rest. it was fun, catching up. havent seen crystal for the past threemillion years. so yay! :)

we got up to mt faber after they got to my place and started our little arson spree. hur, it was crazy. pup even had her own lantern to hold. i would say last year was better, but this year proved its worth of the amount of anticipation invested in. haha. hz went around poking everyones lanterns with his sparklers again. and we had our annual fling-sparkler-into-tree ceremony again. haha. it was good. good.

had supper at fong seng. yes, after 2 large pizzas. haha.

and back to my place after. i wished more people came tho. it was sufficient, but i wished kevin could have made it this year. lionel and equan too. we've gotta keep this up, really.

back to my place at 2am, everyone just lost it. blame it on the tiredness, on the urge to consume. we all went mad! haha. we played this hilarious name game with cartoon characters. roddy was alice in wonderland, me, ninja turtles, hz JOHNNY BRAVO, jay, bananaman and adeline spiderman. it was so funny. haha.

we had our own round of 5 10. rod and jay had this evil plan of getting me drunk that night. thank God neither were sober enough to pull it off. haha. till next time darlings, you've really gotta try harder. dont forget that God gave me 4livers. i shouldnt even start on the number of bladders ive got. haha.

after 1simirnoff red, a quarter of the simirnoff blue export strength, half of the baileys, one carton of jimbeam cola, the remnants of the absolut ruby red amongst just the 6 of us. we had to call it a night.. day.. at 5ish 6am. haha. ooh..
