Simply Bread

i love working at simply bread. it has a load more benefits than i could ever imagine. i mean, its fun and all, and we get to meet random celebs, like glenn ong who came in demanding for his sandwich today. but its all good. what i didnt know, however, was that bread could get you free drinks. haha!

kevin was going down to wala tonight. i really wanted to be there. but it was pretty much he and his campmates type thing. i couldnt intrude. even though they treat me as well as they treat their other guys friends. haha. its good. im like one of them. and i quite like that. then again, i think im used to that. the whole im never treated like a girl kinda thing. ah darn it.

anyhow..

i went down to wala after work. i figured that if i didnt bring down the bread that i had intended, it'll end up all in thebin. so i ended up with 2 bagfuls again. when i actually did that on tuesday, i felt like Jesus feeding the 5000. haha. it was funny. i could bribe people to pick me up from work and send me home to get free bread. haha. this time, it was way cooler.

we went down to wala. i love the whole everyones so comfortable with everyone else kinda thing. i mean, ive known them for years. so it was good. good catching up session.. and needless to say, a good bread devouring session. haha. i was Jesus once again, distributing my stash for the night. one of the guys working there, jason, walked over and asked whether we had any other orders, and we gave him one entire huge loaf of cinnamon raison. haha. it was so funny. he was delighted! and he paid back with these excellent whiskey drys. i have to find out the name of that whiskey. it was superb. sigh. heavenly.

alex had this drink called the amaretto sour. some italian drink thingy. it was gooooood.

so there. my wonderous story of how bread buys you almost everything. haha. yay. im pretty happy. i wanna meet up with them more often. i have to. sigh. how i love them so. yay!

speaking of which, sunand left last night. it was weird. and i think i'd probably miss our little nights out which usually end with nut fights. haha ah sunand, sunand. i really hope ure safe and alright in melb. :( you should introduce your mom to me, then your family would have endless supply of bread. haha. and me, endless number of free checkups. hahaha. ;)
