lightning gazing
its 4am and i'm still up. i dont quite know whats going on in my body. aye..major internal warfare here baby.
i actually quite liked today. it's one of those days where you wake up and know you're feeling happy. then again, i remember rather vividly waking up hungry. i think i was dreaming about sinking my pearly whites, yes, i recently visited the dentist FYI, into crispy hot chicken chop. why chicken chop? dont ask me.
theres something about the number 4 today. i just realised i woke at 4! hey, that means ive only been awake for less than 12 hours. what a slob..but yay to sleep, i'd probably never complain sleeping too much. serene and kio can only stare at me blankly wrecking their brains wondering how i could possibly acheive 14 hours (thanks rene, for counting. haha) of undisturbed sleep continuously. i'd say, its a gift. ;)
i rewatched love & basketball whilst stuffing meesua into my face. i have a strange habit of rewatching shows i realised. ben always marvels at my ability to rewatch the same tv show when they replay it at a later timeslot on cable, after watching it just hours before. haha. i honestly amaze myself too.
i had plans on clearing out my room today. big strategic plans. i could almost imagine getting myself one of those huge industrial fans that they use to blast fake snow onto the tv set to blow out the amount of dust that had collected on my table top and what nots. its filth i swear, plain pure filth.
we headed down to my aunty's place for dinner. had excellent ang zhao chicken again. no, not that yours werent good jason, my aunt's ang zhao is on an entirely different league. recipe probably passed down from generation to generation. haha. lovely. :D
dropped my parents home and went down to bugis to meet the 2 girls. shopped a little and drove down to the beach, not to watch the pathetic array of stars, but to do something different. to lightning watch! and it was such a beauty. we grabbed our lattes from coffee beaners and went down to km8 for some lovin'. haha. it was gorgeous. it could have been better, with the streaks of lightning ripping through the cloudy skies, but it wasnt all that bad. the strong winds made up for it. and of course, the deck chairs and serene's 'wonderful' sausages. that girl loves and hates the strangest of things. haha. and no, kio and i dont happen to fall under that list.
apart from her falling asleep on us again at the beach, id say my night out today was pretty good. hail to more!
