"Gloria...nothing to do is it?"

"yeah..getting dusty"

(i honestly thought she was gonna say something like, come, help me with something..anything!)

and she went...

"GOOD! must enjoy ur first day of work. rest ok? tell me if anyone bullies u."

"(disappointed) yeah..ok..will do"

"lunch at 12 with jo and serene ok?"

and my colleague was like.. "oh good..ure lucky desmond is lunching at 1 coz he'll make u treat. first comers tradition"

"dont bully her ok! must treat her well, just treat me and ure settled."

haha..everyone's eyeing my lunch money i see..

i just got a cartman nailclipper from the boss. it looks so dumb its hilarious. haha. think he just got back from china..as in the main main boss that never comes into the office kind. so funny. my table is so bare. i have an empty paper tray. a HUGE computer. everyone gets flatscreens. i get the old chunky monster. hopefully they'd change that. a calender thats flipped to the month of may..and a telephone. so bare. i dont even have a drawer or stationary since the stationary lady's out today. ive got a heap of river boat tour brochures beside me. haha...

i was looking through the quotation files and i realised its pretty cheap to rent a yacht. we should do that for christmas or something. its about 50 per head. and thats like for customers. i think id get it cheap, under staff benefits. yay..i love my job. so much freebies. haha. and they've booked me for board gaming at settlers next thursday. they say i have to go coz its a bi-weekly marketing dept. destresser. haha. so fun! cant wait.

id be in charge of general enquires for now. gotta get a good grip at all the products. so i'd be able to answer customers. id do quotations and price listings. so if u wanna get cheap trishaw rates or bumboats. or glasstop ferry rides or yachts or any other discounts, BRIBE me... id be open to free food, lunches, dinners, shopping treats or cold hard cash. hurry pick! hahaha..

im so hungry, and looking at the olive menu doesnt help at all. the food sounds awesome. everytime i close my eyes, i start hallucinating about the triple deck choc chese cake. or the creme brulee. or the 5 cheese combination pizza..urgh! save me! im starving!! going food tasting tmr! yay! hahaha..this is gonna be so so fun..

i hope this lasts. as in..the perks and joys of working here. people are uberly funny. so all's good. and i get my own private space even though it aint much. so thats alright too. and the discounts! yay! everyone knows im a sucker for bargains. haha. so im good. heeehehee..
