New Asia Bar - Swissotel.

so just how new is it? haha. i was at new asia bar this afternoon with the rest. it was pris' farewell teaparty, though the obvious lack of tea was supplemented with a spiked version instead. i'm not complaining, really. haha. the presence of alcohol especially at a height like that honestly does compliment the view that we were getting. haha. the last time i was up this high was during new year i think. where we had our little family retreat (just the ladies) high up at the swissotel. we got the suite pretty cheap so that was ok i guess. and the view was just as good, if not, better. haha.

i can still remember so vividly how compass rose looked like before the NEW asia bar came in and took over. haha. we used to go up every new year with my aunty to, uh..well..see howmuch singapore had changed physically thru the past year (yeah right) haha. the area it overlooks, though the view of singapore never remains unchanged. its either a new building erected somewhere or massive construction taking place. but its amazing how this concrete jungle singapore had managed to squeeze in, still looks pretty spaced out and not cramped up like hongkong. theres still the necessary wide open spaces. but like the empire state wanna-be building, with the huge waste of land surrounding it, it really aint necessary is it? just to make a building exclusive? hmmz..i dont quite understand..

so we were at new asia bar. with a ton of food and drinks, and the fantastic view, the beautiful interior design and the company of course. and batman. haha. shawn had dragged his batman model along, with unknown reasons of course. hmmz..he and his strange obsession with black batty things. haha. the girls were somehow all in white skirts, leaving me totally overdressed, since i had a wedding dinner to attend to after. so that was pretty weird at first, but things got ok when the alcohol kicked in and no one bothered to notice. haha. well, id let the pictures do the talking since ive realised my darling classmates hate to read. do i bore u guys? haha. anyway..

there! the view..and my darling! what a combo. haha. though his shirt should honestly go. and i dont know why but the camera doesnt quite like checks perhaps. it made it look so picnic mat-ish. haha.
